About

Gardens of Gaea, pronounced (GUY-UH) after the Greek term for Mother Earth, started as an idea, jokingly discussed between best friends in March of 2016. Spontaneously, they decided to enter into a Partnership and began to pour their love of succulents and cacti into each and every garden they made. Word of Gardens of Gaea has quickly spread and it is becoming a must-have for any home, apartment, or dorm room. They even look fantastic in offices!

FAQ

Do you ship gardens?

We have shipped gardens all over the United States,

and will ship custom gardens upon request. Gardens have to be shipped as an unassembled kit with instruction on assembly, in order to ensure that both the plants and the container get to you safely. We will also deliver your garden to you if you are local.

Do you have a store?

We are currently a rather small (2 person) business and do not yet have a store of our own. However, we have gardens for sale in NEST on Main Street in Columbia, South Carolina and Re-Invintage on Rosewood Drive in Columbia, South Carolina, and we vend bi-weekly at Soda City on Saturdays.

What is your returns policy?

Once you take home your garden and care sheet, it is up to you to take proper care of your plants, so we do not accept returns. However, we do offer assistance via email with any issues that may arise.

What is Soda City?

Soda City is a weekly, year-round, rain or shine street market on the 1400-1500 blocks of Main St in Columbia, South Carolina that takes place every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Soda City attracts between 4-6000 people each week and works with over 800 entities, including over 100 non-profits whom we host at no charge, generating over 4 million dollars in taxable annual sales, about a third of which is at the 10% hospitality level.

The market supports several thousand streams of income, and has generated hundreds of new city business licenses, moving major economic activity from the informal to the formal sector.

The market brings about a quarter of a million people to Main St every year, and it's still growing – the market gains a third block (1300) in 2017.
